Half of a Yellow Sun is a title sequence collaboration between Lexhag and the Morrison Studio team team.

Specific requirements for the sequence required a slowly rotating mirror ball to form the background for the opening credits. Once the footage of the mirror ball had been shot in a dark studio, it was taken into Fusion and reverse-engineered to allow better control.

The footage was projected onto a sphere and volumetric light effects added to enhance the reflections already created in the studio. A slow digital move in was created and the title cards placed on top.
