It’s not every day you get the chance to work on a Wild West werewolf film, so when director/producer Jeremy Wooding asked us to bring his mythical Skinwalker to life, we jumped at the opportunity.

Allaying the world of 3D in favour of an innovative 2D approach, we created the illusion of realism through a range of subtle movements: pupil dilation, breath, opening and closing of the jaw and ear twitches.

Although surprisingly simple, once dropped into the final online our smoke and mirrors effects afforded the monster an unnerving realism.
