The C Word is a drama based on Lisa Lynch’s book which documents her battle with Cancer. Lexhag and camera partner, The Lens Foundry, performed a pivotal shot in the TV movie, portraying the passing of time as relatives visit Lisa in her final days in hospital. A range of VFX tasks were performed throughout the film, but the motion control move was particularly special. Shot in a real hospital environment with limited space, The Lens Foundry used their versatile “Mini-Moco” set-up which performed multiple passes of action that Lexhag then composited together with a range of staggered reveals and effects, producing this well finished moment in time.
